Happy New Year 2026

As we step into 2026, I want to begin with two simple yet powerful words: thank you.

To everyone who has donated, volunteered, prayed, walked alongside a Hero, shared our mission, connected us with partners, or supported us online—thank you. Your faithfulness and commitment to the Whitewater Life Center make all the difference.

Because of your support, 2025 was an incredible year. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to lead this team into 2026, and even more thankful for what God has done through this community. Together, we met—and exceeded—our goals, including our Hero graduation goal. In fact, we graduated more than twice as many Heroes as last year. That means more lives transformed, more hope restored, stronger families, deeper friendships, and more people growing in their relationship with Jesus. We could not do this without your partnership—thank you.

As we look ahead to 2026, there is much to be excited about. January will be a season of preparation as we transition our operations to better serve more community guests, launch a new Resource Center, and prepare for our Hope Banquet.

The theme of our 2026 Hope Banquet is Ignite Hope Together—and it’s more than an event; it’s a movement. On February 19, hosted by Whitewater Crossing, we will cast a life-changing vision, introduce the Wheel of Hope used in our Heroes on a Mission program, and celebrate powerful stories of resilience, restoration, and hope.

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles…"

— Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

Each of us has the opportunity to be a spark—lighting the way for someone walking through a crisis. I invite you to join us, hear inspiring stories, and see firsthand how your support can ignite hope and transform lives. Reserve your seat or learn more now.

On a personal note, I’m embracing a similar theme in my own life this year: Igniting Change. Rather than making fleeting resolutions, I’m committing to meaningful goals that foster growth and joy:

  • Health: Ride 1,000 miles on my bike to strengthen both body and mind.
  • Community: Open my home to deepen fellowship and build stronger connections.
  • Exploration (Joy): Discover 12 new places in Ohio—one each month—to reignite wonder and gratitude.

Yes—these goals connect to the Wheel of Hope. Join us at the banquet to learn more!

I hope you’ll embrace this theme and join us in the movement ahead. Together, we can turn sparks into flames of change. Please, join us.

God bless,

Jason
